Tomoe River Paper, sourced directly from Tomoegawa and last produced in September 2021, is highly valued for its exceptionally smooth surface that is ideal for various artistic mediums, including fountain pens, gel pens, and light watercolor washes. Its bright white color provides a clean canvas, and the thicker 68 GSM version is strong enough to for double-sided use with minimal ghosting, even with wet mediums. The A5 size is about the size of a standard paperback book, making it small enough to fit comfortably in a handbag or small backpack, but large enough that you can write on its pages without feeling too cramped.
