Tomoe River Paper, sourced directly from Tomoegawa and last produced in September 2021, is highly valued for its exceptionally smooth surface, ideal for various artistic mediums, including fountain pens, gel pens, and light watercolor washes. This 68 GSM paper enhances ink shading, sheen, and richness, allowing inks to pool and showcase subtle color variations, especially in multi-chromatic inks. It balances transparency and opacity, making it suitable for double-sided use with minimal ghosting and high resistance to bleed-through, even with wet mediums.
